  4. We will provide a quote including 3 business days with shipping and handling charge.

  5. Upon receiving the quote, please contact us for confirmation. (You may change or cancel order at this time.) If paying by credit card, enter your details via "Credit Card Information" on the top page.

  6. Your order will be shipped upon payment.
Note: If an item is not available for immediate shipment, you will be notified for a back order for any out of stock items or you can readjust your order list.
International Shipping & Handling
Please note:
All orders placed are shipped via Parcel Post Service.
Some large Suibans cannot be sent via Parcel Post Service. Your parcel will be delivered via other couriers as Fedex, DHL, etc.
"SOKA" and "KIKYO" magazines are to be delivered by sea or airmail.
The shipping cost for containers and books are charged separately as they are dispatched from different warehouses.
Shipping charge varies depending on destination and package weight.
The estimated delivery time is listed below, however Ohara School will not hold responsible for delay of delivery.
Our international shipping price does not include customs duties, taxes and country specific fees. Please confirm on your own at the Customs accordingly. If you are unsure of your country's import policies, please check before ordering.

Contact shuppan@ohararyu.or.jp in case the products are NOT delivered by the scheduled delivery date.
We will have the Japan Post have an investigation of the missing products/ good in transit.
We also strongly recommend your contacting the local post office.
We will not proceed with the reshipment until the investigation is confirmed.

Return Policy
Please inspect your product upon receipt for any damages.
Unwrap in front of the courier to find any damages, shortage, or wrong products and notify us within ONE WEEK of receipt.

We do not accept any returned items unless it is damaged or wrong.
Submit a "Damage Claim Form" when you find your product damaged to get a replacement.

  1. Obtain a copy of the courier's claim form slip.

    8. Signature or stamp by your post office

    What is a "Damage Claim Form"?
    It certifies damage on your product during shipping. If a copy is not available at your local post office, use an alternative form signed by the post office.

  2. Take photographs, digital or otherwise, of the damaged shipment/ package.

  3. Send the claim form and photos by fax or mail to the Sales Department, Ohara School Headquarters.

  4. A replacement will be delivered to you when we receive your Damage Claim Form.
Please note that we cannot send you the replacement without the form.
The replaced items will be sent according to your selected shipping method.
