Are you interested in Japanese traditional fine art?
The leading authentic Japanese flower arrangement school, Ohara School of Ikebana, offers lessons held in English. Ohara Center of Tokyo (Ohara Kaikan) is located on the Kotto-Dori Street in Minami Aoyama

Attention! Reservation for June 6 must be made by May 31 4:00pm.

Class Schedule
Thursday 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. (trial: 10:30a.m.-)

One lesson takes about 2 hours.
  • This class is open to all levels from Beginners to Masters.
  • You can take lessons at your own pace.
  • All ikebana tools (text, scissors, containers etc.) are available in the classroom.

* Requested materials might be billed additionally.

1,000 yen (Reservation is NOT required, but please ask us if the class is in session.)

* Please pay in cash in Japanese Yen.
Basic Hana-isho 4,000 yen
Advanced Hana-isho 4,000 yen (4,500 yen for Multisided)
Yosooi (combined Form)  4,500 yen 
Moribana 4,500 yen (extra 1,000 yen for club moss)
Hanamai 4,000 yen
Heika 4,000 yen
Bunjin arrangement 4,000 yen
Rimpa arrangement 5,000 yen
Free Style 4,000 yen- (depending on the material)

Please contact us by one business day before (until 3:00 p.m.).

  • Your booking via email is completed when you receive a confirmation email from us.
  • Cancellation is free of charge until 3:00p.m.one businessday before. After that there will be a charge of 1,500 yen.
